SOTA.S　(Sota Suzuki)

Sota.S began DJ in 1984. He was DJing at various clubs in Tokyo area as well as being a director at FM radio station in Japan.

In 1994, He began the music label "DISCO KING RECORDS", and released four 12 inch singles. Sota S. has been a music producer as well.

Sota.S started to organize club parties called "Strange Love" in 1995. He started party called "Foolish" in 1997. The biggest "Foolish" had more than 800 people.

In 2001, Sota.S invited the world famous fetish club party "TORTURE GARDEN UK" to Japan and held "TORTURE GARDEN JAPAN" in Tokyo in March. More than 1800 people came to "TORTURE GARDEN JAPAN" It was a great success.
Since then, Sota.S has built up strong relashionship with the organizer of "TORTURE GARDEN", who are David TG and Allen TG. Sota.S's DJ skill is highly appreciated, then has been invited "TORTURE GARDEN UK" to spin.
The latest appearance in UK was "TORTURE GARDEN BIRTHDAY WEEKEND" in May, 2008.

In 2002, Sota.S restarted production career, which he had been waiting for. Sota.S started up 3 labels at the same time. They are "LOVEHOUSE","YINGYANG" and "WETWIT". Sota.S is involved with the 6 albums under those three labels as a producer/composer. Sota.S's writer name is "Fat & Tall"or "LATINO HEAT".

Sota.S is multi-talented as DJ, Producer, Artist, Designer,and Organizer.

His DJ play is versatile and transformable indeed, responding various genre, hard, uplifting, or funky. He proves himself by his over 20 years DJ career, originally produced tracks, success of organized parties which features his DJ play.

The activity of Sota.S, who started his career in 1984 was always turned "Growth" and "Provocation" of the club scene , and the scale has slipped out Japan when he started. His activity brings it forward and sets it in centre of big party "TORTURE GARDEN JAPAN" since 2001.

1984年ごろよりDJとしての活動をスタート。1985年にはFM東京（現在のTOKYO FM）にて番組ディレクターを勤めながら、東京都内のクラブを中心にＤＪ活動及びクラブイベントの開催を行っていた。

独立後、1994年に自身のレーベル"DISCO KING RECORDS"を旗揚げし、4枚の12インチシングルをリリース、所属アーティストのプロデューサーとして音楽製作に携わる。

1995年よりレーベル主催によるイベント"Strange Love"を、1997年に大規模なクラブイベント"Foolish"を開催。ピーク時で800人近くの観客動員を記録。

2001年、イギリスの著名なクラブイベント"TORTURE GARDEN"を日本に招聘し、3月に東京で"TORTURE GARDEN JAPAN"を開催、1800人以上の観客動員を記録した。これをきっかけにして"TORTURE GARDEN"の主催者であるALLEN TG,DAVID TGと親交を深め、幾度にわたり渡英、準レジデントＤＪとなる。最近では2007年5月の「TORTURE GARDEN Birthday Ball Weekend」にてゲストDJとしてプレイしている。

2002年ごろより、それまでのプロデューサーとしての活動に加え、自身による楽曲制作活動を開始。この活動が実を結び、2006年、悲願だったレーベル活動を再開し、「LOVEHOUSE」「YINGYANG」「WETWIT」の3レーベルを同時に立ち上げるに至る。以降、現在まで6枚のアルバム制作・プロデュースに携わる一方、自身も「Fat & Tall」「LATINO HEAT」名義にて楽曲のリリースを続けている。

現在はＤＪ、プロデューサー、楽曲制作、イベント開催、デザイナーを中心に活動を行っている。

彼の実力は、20年を超えるDJキャリアと、ハードやアップリフティングやファンキーなどの様々な音楽の方向性に対応する変幻自在なプレイスタイルと、彼が自らが創造したオリジナリティ溢れるトラックの数々と、そして、Sota.Sのスタイルを体現する数多くのオーガナイズ・パーティが証明している。

1984年にスタートした彼の活動は、常にクラブシーンの「成長」と「挑発」へと向けられ、そのスケールは早くから日本を抜け出していた。彼の活動は、2001年から続くビッグパーティ"TORTURE GARDEN JAPAN"、そして現在の"LOVE HOUSE"を軸としたレーベル活動として結実している。
